"Slot"
The concept for this project was to create and fabricate by hand two rings that connected to each other. I began to think about geometric shapes and what can be put together to make something whole, which led to my idea of taking a circle and cutting into it.

The project evolved as I began making the two rings as I started to think about the different ways in which they could be worn. The rings can be worn individually, together and in opposite directions, thus intersecting but not completing the whole.

Once the project was over I began to think about what would happen if each ring was made with different materials and could be worn interchangeably. Hence I mocked up on Rhino and Keyshot variations of the rings in different metals and plastics.
